Carla Ja is the Founder of CJSE, a Boutique Sports and Entertainment Agency that Specializes in Brand Partnerships, Event Coordination, and Management.
Since her company’s launch in March 2013, she has built an impressive client roster of athletes and entertainers across the country. The CJSE team has also produced several high-profiled sports, entertainment, and corporate events across the nation.
Leading up to this launch Carla gained recognition with her “No Glove, No Love” campaign. This movement stood to raise sexual health awareness in her community through the intersection of sports inferences and colorful catch phrases. In realizing the rapid growth this platform brought on, Carla felt it necessary to move her venture to the next level. This T-Shirts based campaign unpredictably evolved into her position as an entertainment interviewer for Los Angeles based, Humor Mill, LTH Sports, and her career in management. This career in sports and entertainment has since grown to include: Brand Management, Business (and Personal) Management, Public Relations, Marketing Solutions, Event Production, and much more!
Separately, this self-proclaimed “boxinista” once served as reporter for BoxingSocialist.com and her own film & radio show, “The Sound Off With Carla Ja”. Previously, Carla served as an athlete representative for Juan “The Baby Bull” Diaz’s Baby Bull Sports Management. Here the CJSE team was instrumental in athlete acquisition, In addition, Carla was a co-host on Jeff Mayweather’s Pro-Boxing Insider and Pro–MMA Insider. FanFaves in short is the “next generation” social platform enabling users to create a customized view of interest based content from Web and Social Media sources. Ms. Ja is also a consultant for online sports trivia platform, fanclash.com, as well as award winning sponsorship platform, opensponsorship.com, which connects athletes with some of the most exciting brands.
Raised by her grandparents, Carla has always exuded a sense of old-school flare. With this solid upbringing and foundation, from young age, her personality and work ethic remain grounded in three ideals-honesty, integrity, and grit. In knowing how much positive adult influence affected her adolescent life, Carla continuously seeks to mentor youth within her community. “True Leaders Don’t Create Followers, They Create More Leaders”, a motto Carla stands by in all of her community outreach efforts.
Carla work ethic successfully carried her from a full-time career as a department head in the medical field to a full-time career in sports and entertainment.
